Full Re-Roof in Bicester: A 1970s Concrete Tile Roof Replaced in Three Days.
This roof in Bicester had reached the end of its lifespan after decades of wear. The original 1970s concrete tile roof was beginning to show signs of deterioration, and the customer contacted M&C Roofing & Building for a full replacement.
We stripped the existing roof back, installed new breathable membrane and battens, and completed the re-roof with new concrete tiles to give the property a clean, long-lasting finish. The entire project was completed in just three days with minimal disruption to the homeowner.
We have used M&C previously on our home and it was an easy decision to have them return and replace our ageing 1970s concrete tile roof.

The gents epitomise the work "graft". Initial quote issued and team arrived to complete the work when, during initial checks, there was more damage to repair than first thought. They offered good evidence of this and turned around a revised quote within a couple hours. No charge for the initial approach and they were back within a week getting it done. They used a very good scaffolding firm and once the site was good, they absolutely smashed it. They were efficient, pleasant, courteous and professional. I tried so hard to offer them tea/coffee/water but they just smiled and got on with it 🤣. Quality of the work is clear and evident, and knowing these guys are local and have done a lot of work in the village, explains why I always see them around the area doing jobs.

How quickly can you come out for a leak?
Usually same day for emergencies during working hours. After hours, we aim to be with you first thing the next morning. Use 07532 712048 for emergencies. We don’t charge a call-out fee for the inspection.
How much does a new roof cost?
It depends on size, materials, and access. For a standard 3-bed semi in Bicester, expect somewhere between £6,000 and £12,000 for a full re-roof in concrete tile. Slate is more. Complex roofs are more. We give a fixed written quote after a free inspection.
How do I know I’m not being upsold?
